Reprieve

We were fortunate to have a winter reprieve today. The temperature rose to the mid 50s! We've had freezing (and below) temperatures for longer than I care to think about.

Cait and I took Beauregard and Sarah for a long walk at the end of the day to soak in the promise of spring. What a wonderful break after Cait finished her last exam and I took a reprieve from a long "to do" list and the stresses of impending reductions in force at work.

It's Friday and the weekend is here -- and our hopes loom large.
