Traumatic day at work today. The last of this round of layoffs. The last of the carnage.
Whether tapped or not, life won't be the same for any of us.
I think Saida sensed my concern and gave me an extra loving snuggle. It doesn't cure my worry for my friends or my mourning at not seeing them again or as often, but it was a comforting gesture. Thank God and the universe for creature comforts, however they come to us.
